Lightbulb Sorta newbies

My wife and I started perusing the Forums early in 2004 looking for an AS to reduce my annual cabin fever. We were full time RVers from 1994 to 2000 when we decided that a phone and mail box would be nice to have, but by 2004 I was longing for the road once again. We found our 2001 19' Safari Bambi in the classifieds back in Sept. 2004 and have had the best times ever since the adoption. Last Summer we pulled over 9000 miles from Phoenix, AZ, up thru the Rockies to Edmonton, AB, then over to Vancouver Island, BC, and then eventually back to the Phoenix area. It was a great 3 month jaunt that finalized the adoption process for us and our Bambi. This Summer we just completed a 10 week run up the CA coast where we went from San Diego to Ukiah stopping for a week at the end of a days trailering. We don't travel very far in a day (4 to 150 miles), nor very fast (55 mph max), but we have a great time doing it. I just joined AIR at my wife's insistance... "why don't you become a legal member since you enjoy it so much", and have learned the proper care and feeding of our AS mostly through the Forums.

Welcome - officially - finally. The west coast is such a beautiful place to wander - sounds like you've been having a great time.

Welcome

A trip up the west coast over ten weeks sounds terrific. We recently did a ten day trip along the California coast and wished it never ended. Where did you stop? What was your favorite destination?
