Soon to be newbie

Hello everyone! Today we put our deposit on a new 2018 Serenity 25FB. We are looking forward to joining the family of Airstream.
AS our first post, I wanted to ask about options...can anyone help or comment on the front bed layout? What are any reasons this layout may be beneficial or not? Also the dealer stated that the later 2017 and new 2018's would have "made in America" Goodyear tires and were "as good" as the 16" wheel option with Michelin tires. Has anyone heard this or have comments?

Congratulations on a great choice and welcome to the Forum. I choose the 25FB because of the roof venting refrigerator and the darker- rock-guarded windows in the bedroom.

My 2017 also came with the GYE Goodyears, but I bought a set of new 16" Michelins when thinking of buying used. Had I not bought the Michelins, I would have run the Goodyears for three years and then decided on my replacement options.
