Santa Barbara Says Hello to all Airsteamers
My wife Joan and I purchased the 28ft Ambassodor in 2003 with many plans for it's future. Well,it just sat in our back yard until a few months ago when we decided to rebuild and start draging it to some of our favorite places. It took a lot of thought of the interior changes we would make to meet our lifestyle and comfort. We settled on the Ralph Lauren design/style. I wanted to be sure that we did not have problems with the running gear so I replaced, all the brake backing plate assembly, all new bearings/races, and shocks. Now I am starting to gut working from front to the rear. Though out the old pump, and the water tank is cracked. Designed a new front couch (now under construction) that pulls out for a double bed. All fake wood will be replaced with real, and will have the side walls in beaded board natural showing knots etc. I have learned many things from your forums and reading web info. Lots of work to do and looking forward to each hour I can spend on this project and the fun destinations in 2010, we hope.
I am sure we will be asking for help as needed. We will also send photos soon.....We are gled to be on board..
Thanks, Teddy and Joan Meyer Santa Barbara Ca.
