Our first Airstream !!!! New to us....1997 34W Norman Rockwell Limited
Just cruising through the advertisements and there she was . Thanks to the previous owners it is in really good condition . As being the new custodians of this Norman Rockwell it is are intensions is to carry on with maintaining it to the highest standards . We have been camping since 1980 and have had many types of RVs up to our present 38 ft Cedar Creek 5th. Time to downsize we always admired the Airstreams ...so here we are . Looking forward to many new adventures

Greetings from Colorado: Welcome to the Airstream owner's community. You found yourselves a top of the line Airstream travel trailer. We have a 86 Limited 34'. I think they started making them in about 1983 and quit in about 2010 with what was called the Panamerica. It was a toy hauler with a big rear hatch.

Our 86 has been in the family since new. And it is still going strong. We enjoy traveling with it.

Congrats on your first AS. May it bring you much happiness!

I don't think I've ever seen a Norman Rockwell edition. Take some pictures when you get an opportunity!

Best regards!

Great looking trailer. I haven't seen one before - are the propane tanks up front?

I was gonna ask the same thing. Upon doing some research it would seem that AS implemented horizontal tanks for a time but would like confirmation. -Brad

97 Norman Rockwell Legend -

Congratulations on your new purchase. We too bought a 97 Norman Rockwell Legend in August, 2021. My intention is to turn it into a Guesthouse eventually. Still figuring it all out. There were only 50 made, one for each state. Mine was originally purchased in South Carolina. There are a few articles on the forum that talk about it. In 2010, someone thought that there were only be 30 left.

They are really unique. Here is a picture if ours on the way home from Georgia to FL.

Good Luck!!

looks like another beauty . The original owners came from Ethelsville Alabama . We have the original sales receipt. Looks like they owned it up to 2017 . Was in storage for several years as much as 10 . Not sure . Purchased in 2017 by Steven Hammer who did a lot of repairs ie tires , hot water heater , batteries , mattress etc. . Than Dave Talkie (Joliet Ill) purchased it in 2018. He also did some cosmetic work to it which brought it up to what it is today . We are super pleased to be able to carry the touch on these icon AS. It will be interesting to find how many are still out there keep in touch
