Arrow On the hunt!

I am looking for and will wait to make an offer until I can find a mint or excellent condition Airstream trailer not more than 15 years old, from about 1991 to 2003 and from 19' to 25' maximum. That would make it "the best buy for me now".
I am very lucky to have a good friend to guide me. He now owns an Airstream 30' that he purchased new for retirement trips. He has owned about every size used Airstream, over the last 30 years of trailering. I listen closely to everything that he says.
I have a 2000 Yukon XL, 4 X 4 that I keep in great shape that will be my tow vehicle and my buddy tells me that I need an anti-sway system/ package for it.
I will stay away from the new and the older collectible little itsy-bitsy's fixer uppers as well as the big older collectibles that require long expensive rehab projects especially since I'm definitely not a do it yourselfer; and I do not perceive a need now or in the future for anything over 25'.
I prefer to pick up my new old trailer where I inspect it. I am most interested in making an immediate trip with the trailer that I purchase and would very much consider and look forward to hooking up to the trailer and being off on my trailer trip around the US, Canada and Mexico. What a dream!
Once I find and negotiate a deal, I will be starting off to pick up the trailer from Sarasota, FL on the tail end of the trip it will be back to Sarasota, Fl.
My trip can be generally shifted around without a problem depending on the location of the trailer that I purchase. I am an active kayaker currently paddling on regional Florida Rivers, the Intra Coastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. I am looking forward to taking my trailer and my kayak to many new and interesting places and meeting lots of new friends.
If anyone out there knows where I can locate my "perfect fit" please give me a holler through this forum.
Gene.

Welcome.
Sounds like you will be getting some use out of your soon to be Airstream. The guys and gals here are very helpful. Although a late model, well, for that matter, any used airstream are tough to come by in comparison with other trailers, with persistance you should find yourself a nice deal.
GOOD LUCK!
