OK, I'm in. Here's my First AS, a 1984 34' Limited
OK, I took the plunge and bought a 1984 34' Limited. I know it's big, but I have three kids and one on the way, so I need the sleeping capacity. It needs a little TLC, but I feel like a proud father.
Thanks for all the great input here, I could not have done it without you guys. BTW, I bought it here off the classifieds, too.

Very Nice. Just think, with one that big when you leave your driveway you're half way there.
Enjoy

Hi, Does your diesel with manual transmission handle the 34' well. I have a F250 diesel and a 75 overlander 27' and pull in overdrive. Wish to go larger but was wondering about the weight. We pull from Eastern Canada to Yuma each year. Do use overdrive mostly? Lenw.

Texas = BIG..
Congrats, and welcome to the Forums. I thought everything from Texas was SUPPOSED to be BIG... At least many of the roads, tow vehicles and gas stations can handle it.. For the record, make a note to yourself and stick it in the tow vehicle.. "Avoid California Highway One north of San Francisco While Towing.." There are just some roads the 34 is not designed for...
Enjoy!!

................That is a really nice looking trailer . You're going to spend a fortune just on fishing licenses , equipment and hot dog fixins ! Atleast , with a 34 if things get a little crazy you can hide at the Far end of the trailer . r66

YEAH Baby!!!!
Wow!!!! What a great looking trailer.
Won't add to the long list of "OOOhhs" and "AHHhhs", but I will add a HUGE "Welcome!!!!" to the BIG TOY club!!!!
It is rarified territory even in the AirStream world!!
We LOVE our 34' and I am sure you and yours will also!!!
If you ever happen to wander into ALBQ, give a shout!!! Courtesy parking is available!!
Wouldn't it be the COOLEST to park your rig right next to SilverToy!!?! Wow, what a photo THAT would be!!!
Anyhoo.... Post photos of the inside ( WITH kids if you can manage it - got 3 of my own!) and with awnings deployed. Heck, ANY old photos will give all of us a kick!
Again, Welcome and enjoy EVERY inch of that AS!!!
All the best, Happy Easter, and be safe!
