OK - A Newbie Here

Hello All - Getting away from the pop-ups and all the hassle. Going to pick up a 1996 Excella in Searcy AR, weather permitting on Saturday. Any advice would be appreciated. BR

BR, Welcome to the Forum. You've come to the right place to gain

knowledge. I would look into towing configuration, trailer setup, type of tow

vehicle. The Forum is a great place to start. good luck on your Airstream.

Regards, Keith

Hello, welcome, and congratulations. Keith mentions good checks for a new-to-you trailer and tow. Use the search feature found on the menu bar at the top of this page to discover LOTS of information that will answer some of your questions and maybe make some points you hadn't thought about yet. Don't hesitate to ask questions on this forum. You'll find many supportive friends here for your new hobby of Airstreaming. ~G

Smile 1996 Exel

There a lot of good questions from the forum. The biggest is what are you using for a tow vehicle? I hope it is a least a 3/4 ton pickup. Does it have a brake controler? Is your trailer plug compatible with the AS trailer/ Does the trailer come with a hich and weght distribution bars?
Regards Russell from Tucson az.
