No boat, no Harley, just an Airstream

Hello, we're new to Airstreams and forums so it was suggested by the moderator that we do an intro. We're here at Midland, Texas in the middle of the oilfields. After years of living in tin boxes on the job and watching Airstreams go by I decided it was time. With retirement looming in the near future I told my wife I planned to buy a Harley and hit the road, after a few days discussion the Airstream was a quick and easy sell. We looked at several before finding our 2004 28' Classic nearby here at Lubbock. I wasn't aware of Air Forums when we bought, but it has been a wealth of info since then. We made one quick shakedown cruise for a weekend and plan to attend Wurstfest for 3 days in November. Hopefully next summer will let us travel more, we look forward to meeting people in the Airstream community, especially close here in Texas / New Mexico. I'm still having trouble navigating the forums so bear with me, I'm trying.

Ah, yes, the old "lesser of two evils, Harley trick". Used it several times myself. Welcome!
