We are Bill and Cookie from the coast of Maine. With my approaching retirement (Cookie already did), we're developing a plan to show ourselves and our many grandchildren (9, at last count) the wonders of North America. We've hiked, flyfished, canoed, camped, bird watched all our lives and in many areas. Now we want to pass it on to our kids' kids and are thinking that a Bambi is the perfect way to do it. We are at the stage of planning and dreaming....haven't actually seen a real live Bambi yet. Preliminary studies indicate that it's the ticket, however. So, if any of you experienced people out there have some suggestions, cautions, citations, etc for us, we'd like to hear from you. As time goes on I'm sure we'll have a ton of questions. Thanks.

If you are planning on traveling long distances for an extended time you may want to consider something a little longer than a Bambi. My wife and I had a Bambi and it got a bit cramped on rainy days so we upgraded to a 25' Safari and are very happy with the new trailer. Good luck in your search.
