Newbies to both forum and trailering

Hi all - DH had wanted an airstream for a while - so we finally found one we could afford. So we will be picking up our 78 Argosy 28' this weekend. Our tow vehicle is a 97 chevy suburban that we are having a new connector put on along with electric brake switch. Fortunately, it has the transmission cooler already. We are going to be needing a vent cover (the one on the bathroom is gone). And the refrigerator is non functional. We figure we will leave that as is for now and put in a dorm size AC one until we can get a new one. Thanks and we look foward to learning alot.

Welcome!!!

We also have a 78 It is a 25 Caravanner. You should join our Falluminium Campout. There are a bunch of great folks and you will pick up a few tips as well. We were newbies last year and everyone was a big help and a lot of fun. Hope to see you there!!!

Argosys are really fun (but... I might be partial). Be sure to check out the Argosy subforum - there is great info there about Argosy specific issues.
