Newbies Listen Up!

OK now that I have your attention - I thought I could save you some time wandering around the forum trying to find answers. Unless you like to wander then you can click out now. But I am fairly new here too and have discovered a few things to share. On the left side of the screen you see a quicklinks list and 3rd from the bottom is a link to "Support". In that thread you will see explanations for how to get those cool rivets, what that warning meter thing is and about karma. I just clicked on User CP along the top blue bar and found some nice notes from some nice people on my "latest reputation received". How cool is that! I didn't even know I had a reputation. So go forth and spread good karma and you may get some back. Maybe even from me now that I've learned how. Aloha (insert smiley doing hula).

I just recently learned about that too!!..what is the meaning of the avitar (sp)?

To upload or change an avatar:

An avatar is the little picture displayed below your user name in the profile box on the left side of every post. You may use a forums avatar or upload your own custom avatar. Avatars are limited in size to 102 x 100 pixels or 100 KB (whichever is smaller).
