Newbies and excited!

After years of looking and dreaming about it, my wife and I decided not to wait until retirement, so we bought a new 2015 25 ft FB Serenity just before Christmas. Man are we stoked!

We are going to do our walk through on Tuesday but I've got a question on our tow vehicle. It's a 2014 Chevy Silverado 4x2 with the High Country package. This has an integrated trailer brake controller. I'm a little concerned because I've never talk to anyone who has used the system. Can anyone out there share your experience with this integrated system?

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

We tow our 2015 Flying Cloud 25FB with a 2011 Silverado 3500 with an integrated trailer brake controller. The brake controller works great. This is our second 25FB. We also towed our 2005 Safari 25FB with the Silverado. We now have over 1,400 nights of camping in 25FBs. It is a great floor plan.

Brian

Thanks for the welcome and input. The integrated system seems pretty straight forward and the service tech who did our walk thru has seen it a few times, giving us enough to get started. I'll set it up per the owners manual and go from there.
