Newbie with a Minuet 6 Metre

Hi All....
I posted the other day in the Minuet section, but got a welcome PM that said I should introduce myself here....
I am the proud owner of a 1977 Minuet 6 Metre that I picked up in Minnesota from Craig's List (with my Mom's help). I named her "My Happy Pill" and hope to get off camping in her early next month.
So far, I've changed the gaskets on the windows, gave her a good scrub down, had my dad install a new water heater, put in the potty that my parents gave me for my birthday, got new beltline & rub rail stripping, am repainting my logos, had my brother & dad fix my brakes & repack the bearings, had my mom clean up my cooktop to a mirror finish, and enjoyed coordinating all of these people, other than my husband (the unhandy one) to help me out! I still have more things I want to do, but need to span out the budget, if you know what I mean! Here's a picture of me with The Happy Pill on our way home from Minnesota:

Happy to have you here with us. Can you send your family to me.? Sounds like they are a great help.

Hey MHP,

Nice looking six metre. Sounds like you're well on your way to a season of enjoyment. Keep us posted on your adventures and upgrades.

Regards,

Kevin

Hi Jill,

Dad says he'll help you reroute some plumbing, but he needs a french silk pie as a reward! I don't need anything for helping--I'm an addict, as so many people here are, and just love all of the putzing that come with an Airstream!
xoxo

Hi, I am also a Newbie here, and just wanted to say Awesome find!!!! I hope I can find something that size and in decent condition as well. Being single something between 16'to 19 and maybe up to 21' would be just my size. Enjoy your Happy Pill as you explore your world, and such a beautiful world it is out in nature, and meeting people alike in the camping world! If you ever come down to GA please look me up, always a pleasure to meet a fellow camper/RVer
