Yeah! We're getting our camper tomorrow! I'm so excited! Not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight. We're buying a 1978 Excella from a friend. Haven't seen it in a couple of years. Can't wait to organize all my camping stuff into the compartments {we had a pop-up for 5 years}. She was a good pop-up but without a bathroom, camping was limiting. So ready for a fun family camping trip.

Think about coming to our Falluminum get together in Hiawassee Ga. Look up the thread here..we get folks from every area around Ga. 20 to 50 Airstreams.

Welcome to the Airforums. I am not sure how close you are to the northern part of GA, but he GA unit of the WBCCI (an Airstream club) maintains a beautiful campground just north of Helen, GA in te mountains. Please come up and camp with us. We will have a youth rally July 18-22.

Thanks for the greetings. My husband and I towed it home last night with my Tahoe. Going to use the truck next time. Need a new hitch. We had to go 55mph the whole way home.

The proper hitch setup makes all the difference. There are many different options out there. Just make sure it is a good Weight Distribution hitch WITH sway control. We love our ProPride Hitch setup. Others swear by their Reese, Pullright, Hensley, Etc.
