Newbie Airstreamers - Just picked our new Safari SE 27FB

Hi everyone - very happy to report that we just picked up our new Airstream this past weekend. Our first RV and we are thrilled!

Thanks to all on this forum who offered us advice while we were shopping.

Bought it at Intermountain Coach in Colorado Springs. Very nice people there. Spent our first night at a nearby RV park by the Garden of the Gods just to practice. We were surprised by how easy it is to manuever. Of course JD, the delivery manager at the dealer, was a total champ and a great teacher.

The next day we had a party at our house with friends to celebrate the new toy. Here is a picture of us getting ready to smash a bottle of champagne on the hitch for luck.

We named her Luna - for the full moon that we saw the day we bought her

We look forward to chatting with you and seeing you down the road!

Welcome from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

Congratulations on your new baby. You're going to love the FB floorplan. We have a 25FB, named Lucy, and love her.

Safe travels,
Brian

You will love this floorplan. Make sure you pick spots that enable the dining area to look out into the beautiful vistas you encounter. Congratulations.

Congrats Hector and Brenda!
You will love the layout.
I can't believe there are so many new FB Airstreams out there.
This past weekend we were at the Petaluma KOA here in CA and there were FOUR brand new FB Airstreams.
