Thumbs up Newbie

Hello all,
Good to see a forum dedicated to the "Good Life"! I am priviledged to live in Montrose, Colorado which is about 20 minutes north of Ridgeway State Park, one of our very favorites destinations. We hook on the "Silver Bullet" and head south quite frequently. We have a group of 5 other couples who have "those other brands" of RVs, who join us in many of our travels.
We have lived in Colorado for some 44 years (moved here from Indiana). We located initially in Colorado Springs and moved to Montrose 12 years ago. We have been avid campers for nearly all of our time here in Colorado and know of some fine camp grounds, and some dry camp areas as well, in the state. We have been Airstreamers since 1977, when we purchased our first. It was a used 1968 twenty footer in near new condition. We used it for 10 years, sold it to a good friend and bought a new 1988 25' Excella, which we still own. It has been a wonderful trailer with only the minimum of problems. Wally did good!

Welcome. I'm in Palmer Lake and there are two active members (at least) in Colorado Springs. Kip (Aerowood) is one of our aluminum experts in Denver and I'm sure there are many others. We take the time to help each other out (all are owners of vintage Airstreams), so it's great having people nearby who will drop their own projects and lend a hand.
