New with 1974 Argosy 20.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Jay Jones and I just purchased a 1974 Argosy 20. I have dreamed of owning a trailer like this and now the dream is true. It is great shape but needs a little TLC. Any tips out there?

Hi - Argosys are cool! Learn to use the search tool on the upper blue tool bar and check out the argosy subforu. Most systems on Argosys are the same as standard Airstreams of the same vintage. You should have a lot fo good fun ahead.

Hi Jay and WELCOME to the forums. If you use the search tool, you can find many threads and topics that relate to questions you may have about the Argosy trailer. Many subjects covered here pertain to the Argosy as well as the Airstream trailer. The basic construction is the same, however the Argosy is painted. Post pictures of your "find" when you get the chance. We all like to see pictures.
If you have a chance to travel and the trailer is capable, come to Georgia Mountain Fair in Hiwassee, GA. The date for our forums rally is coming up soon October 20-22, 2006. You will meet other fanatics of the A/S and Argosy trailers and motorhomes.
