New traveller
Hello,
I'm new to the travel trailer game and I'm trying to research which one will work for me. I want a vintage smaller trailer of aluminum construction, so I'll be asking many questions.
Thanks

If the right question gets asked, there can be an avalanche of information on both sides of the question. There is a word "search" in the blue horizontal bar below the string of Airstreams on a caravan.
Clicking on that and entering a term will get you started. The more specific your terms, the less overwhelming an answer can be.
Welcome aboard. There are hundreds of vintage Airstream owners here.

Airstreams are of aluminum construction - you came to the right place!
Good luck!

Be sure to include "PharmGeek" in your search. If the question has ever been posted before it is surely included among the replies he got during his 2,400+ inquiry into Airstream Anthology.

You're already on the right track.
Vintage aluminum rules!
I would be just as happy with an Avion, Silver Streak, Argosy, Streamline, or Travelux- some are actually built better than Airstreams. Older Airstreams are built better than new ones-

Hi from AZ. . . Welcome to the forums, and remember, opinions are like noses, EVERYBODY has one. Discerning knowledgeable info from speculation takes a bit of practice but there's a lot of both here, I love it, hope you do as well, and Regards, Craig

Thanks for the welcomes. I really like the old Silver Streaks with the aluminum cabinets and counters, but an old Airstream is a very close second. Hopefully I'll have something to post about in the near future, but I need to get some cars out of the way first. Maybe I'll start with a useable trailer first, then go for a restoration later?.
