Smile New to the AS Life!

Hello There,
My husband & I just bought our Flying Cloud!! We took her out for her 'shakedown' 2 weeks ago in the pouring rain with our 4-legged children!! As you can see from the picture they were just fine.

Our official Maiden Voyage will be over the holiday weekend! Looking forward to hanging with other streamer's soon!
Happy Holidays!

Welcome to a better life, as we call it, Airstreaming.

Your 4 legged kids will love it too. You know, new places, to sniff around.

Sorry your photo didn't post.

Welcome!

Welcome to the forums Troynlisa, That's a very cute picture of your two "4-legged children" being good on the couch.

Happy holidays and have a safe maiden voyage.

Welcome to airforums, com, Tryo & Lisa! That's a beautiful trailer, and the two dogs do look quite at home.

As well as putting a photo in your profile (where your doggie picture is) you can also attach photos as part of any message you post.

When you write a post, click on the "Advanced" button, scroll down to the spot marked "Manage Photos", and away you go.

Or you can always use a photo manager website such as photobucket.com, which will allow you to simply paste a link to the image in any post.

Where are you going on your first trip, Santa Cruz? I love the San Jose area.

cheers,
Aage

Welcome to the Airstream Life, TroynLisa! Your pooches are adorable. THey look very happy in their new digs.

Our two four-legged kids are like Blue Pearl's: they are in the AS waiting while we pack. They can't wait to go. When the AS is in our driveway, they run out to it, hoping someone will open the door and let them in, even if we're not going anywhere!

The new Flying Cloud's are gorgeous. Happy trails and tails!

TroynLisa,

Welcome to the Airstream way of life. It looks like your four legged friends have already taken a liking to the new digs. I'm in Campbell, right next to San Jose, drop a PM if you ever want to get together and chat all things aluminum!

Dogs love Airstreams

Welcome, it must be something about Airstream's that dogs love. Ours sure did. I have often told people over the years that we bougth our Airstream so that when we traveled we could take our dogs with us. We could not stand the though of leaving them behind.

We are newbies to the airstream family too. We bought a 1965 globetrotter to enjoy. We have a chocolate lab that may not be too impressed with our choice to downsize for less space. He had it pretty good in our other trailer (a non-airstream) but should adjust fine. I know we will all enjoy the adventures. Happy Camping!

I use to have a 1962 Flying Cloud, I enjoyed it very much. Wanted to polish it but changed my mind and kept it original. I wish you and the kids Happy Airstream Dreams.
