New to the Airstream community

Hi everyone,

My husband and I just bought our first Airstream, a 27 foot, 1972 Overlander. We are so excited! It has been a dream of ours for a while now. We are just at the beginning stages of our renovation (gutting completed). We are hoping to get the renovation done in the next 4-5 months (before baby arrives) and live/travel with it through western US and Canada (where our family lives).

The journey begins.

Hello from Colorado and welcome too of course. I enjoy my 75 Overlander and think the 27' is a great size for a family. I'm renovating mine, but I have quite a ways to go before it is travel ready. You might enjoy my "project thread" linked below. Our trailers are built very much alike.

Post some pictures of your trailer "as found" if you like. They all look alike when gutted if you know what I mean. My trailer had rear end subfloor rot as well as rear end separation. I do have that all repaired now and I'm working on putting the bathroom back together.
