new to group

My wife and I are long time boaters, trawler style and have been cruising a lot since retirement. Had this boat for 22 yrs and are, seriously, looking at a 27ft Airstream. Will see it tomorrow. Know a lot about boats but not much about R/V's. We look forward to being active in this commumity.

Welcome, Mariner; You will discover several boaters in this group. You have a number of similar maintainence, appliance and repair issues that you can share with Airstreamers. Check our the Forum and Search headings. You will discover many answers to your questions PLUS you will find that you can answer many questions we have. Glad to have you.

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. I think that you will find that many of the RV systems are similar to marine systems.

Welcome! This forum will be a great place to get advice and general info about things important to your ownership interests! We are NOT retired and love our little 19 footer! We have taken it crosss-country to places like the Rockies --- and locally into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (on roads natorious for being some of the worst in the nation) but just love being out in our home-away-from-home. As you contemplate the unit that seems like it will fit-the-need, don't be shy about soliciting optinions, the forum members surely will not be shy about giving you their opinions as well! Best of luck on your efforts and looking for just the right unit for you all!

Again, Welcome!
Bill
