New to Forum
Just completed reg for this forum. We have been daily readers since '14 and have learned many helpful things. We took deliver of our '14 FC Front Bed in late summer of '14. Befroe it leftthe lot we "customized" the interior: took the oven out, moved the convection-microwave to the oven location, replaced the original refrigerator with next larger size, replace the queen bed with twin beds. All tis was after discussions with the team at Woodland in Grand Rapids, MI.
We tow with a Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel. We have now been coast to coast once and Michigan to San Diego 3 times. We have gotten over our initial jitters and now carefully travel with confidence.
Our trailer weighs in at about 5600# loaded for a trip. Putting about 600# on the hitch with truck axils within load limits and nearly equal. This was achieved after a visit to CanAm.
We also have had some routine work done at "The Mother Ship" in Jackson, Ohio were we were also very satisfied. Am considering a return visit there this summer for some additional customization.
We have been campers all our lives (now married 45+ year). This is our first AS and we love it! Looking forward to particpating in this forum.
One last thing: "HoWee" is the name of our trialer, and makes most sense in a sentence "HoWee roll".
