New to Airstream also

We put a deposit on a FC27FBQ (is that the proper abbreviation?) We hope to close and pick up by the "end of the Month". We are downsizing from a class A and have 4 years under our belt, the last 2 were running down south for FEB-MAR-APR. I quit/retired work early to enjoy now instead of someday. After this past winter in Texas and spending 80% of our time on state and county roads when we finally did get on the interstate to make a bee line for home the DW exclaimed this is boring. The conversation then ensued on What IF we got something smaller and did more exploring. And that brings us to today. Excited but nervous about where to put everything. A Big thanks to all who have answered my posts so far, You've be very helpful.

You certainly aren't the first folks to "down size" from a Class A to an Airstream. It will take an adjustment period to add just what you need to your smaller trailer. But it is just an adjustment period. Your Airstream will keep you cozy and comfortable.

Let us know how that adjustment period goes.

Rick, welcome to the family! We just traded up from a FC23FB to a 27’ Globetrotter Twin and can’t be happier. I’m planning to retire next year and we’ll be taking extended trips. You guys are in for a treat!
