Talking New to Airstream

Hi folks. I'm new to this forum. The wife and I started looking at Airstreams about three weeks ago. We have looked at just about every other type of RV out there. Just couldn't decide on a 5th wheel. a travel trailer, Class A or just a simple little tent trailer. Just on a whim, we looked at a new Safari and immediately was hooked. When we decide to purchase, it will definately be an Airstream.
Just a little about us. We are from NH and love to travel, (guess that comes from 23 years in the Army), We plan on buying a RV in the spring and travelling for a month or two. There is so much to see in this great country and we want to see it all before its to late.

Hi and welcome! Many of us arrived at the same choice in the very same way - we wanted a trailer (or some kind) but just weren't "feeling the love" with standard white boxes.

Have fun with your new adventure!

Welcome to the forum.
This is an excellent starting point in your search.
Always good to see another person from NH.

Thanks for the welcome. We have been talking about going full-time after I retire but just can't seem to both get on the same page. We even talked about just going in the summer and doing work-camping for awhile. Any and all advice will be appreciated. We havn't done much camping over the years, just a little now and then when the kids were small.

Welcome, four i's. We just bought our first camper, a Bambi 19' Safari and are very excited about it. We're retired but have a Tenth-grader at home which impinges on our freedom to travel somewhat. Looking forward to taking it out and figuring out how the whole septic things works. Have fun searching!

You have found the right place to learn all things Airstream! Shopping is half the fun! Whether you are considering vintage or new here is a link that will give you some good food for thought!

Good luck! Hope to see you in a 'stream soon!
