Hey Y'all!
I just bought a 1959 Overlander about a month ago and listed it for sale on here. After several offers I realized how much I'm in love with it and had to delete the listing!
Looking forward to getting help from all yall in the build process. Not many 19 yr olds in my area are into this stuff.
My future tow vehicle is my current daily driver, a 1952 International Harvester truck with a 5.2 V8 swap!

Need Help Searching Forum

Looking to see if anyone has done plank flooring? Thinking of putting 1x6 pine from Lowes down on top of the sub flooring. Could yall point me in the right direction for threads?

That's the spirit!

I was going to say that you can find everything you want to know on this forum until..... I realized I'd never seen a post about laying 1x6 lumber down for flooring. My first thought it that it might cause clearance issues with cabinet doors - but maybe you're replacing those...

Anyway, I happened to find this cool flooring the other day, using 1x6 lumber --- maybe it'll be of interest to you.

Thanks for the link!
I'm doing a complete remodel from the floor up. Going for a modern industrial look for the inside, so cabinetry won't be an issue.
The big thing that I will be doing, that I've never seen done, is welding 2 steel arch ways to the chassis at each end. This will be for hanging my chandelier and a hammock inside.
I'll hopefully be posting throughout the build
