Stunning adventure awaits in the gorge, Seneca Lake is nice and if you like wine, the region has some of the best wineries in the state. Can't wait for next season!
We have thought of going to Watkins Glenn. Do you have a recomendation for a good CG?

There aren't too many campgrounds in the immediate vicinity of Watkins Glen. *We chose to stay at the Watkins Glen KOA. *It was an OK place, nothing to complain about. *Located just up the hill south of Watkins Glen, it was a good central location to all we wanted to do while in the area. *If you go, be sure to visit the Corning Glass Museum too. *The Seneca Lake dinner cruise was good also.

Watkins Glen brings back fond memories from long ago ... Formula 1 Grand Prix races and tent camping in the fall no matter what the weather. One year we attended the US and Canadian Grand Prixs on consequtive weekends with garden and winery tours in the finger lakes region between the races. They still allow boondock camping at the Glen during races, if anyone is interested, although Formula 1 has moved on.
We've stayed overnight while traveling at Cayuga Lake State park at the north end of the fingerlakes. It gets crowded on weekends and during holidays, but otherwise is fine. The Glen website lists several campgrounds in the area, http://www.theglen.com/fan_info/accommodations/.

Coles Creek sounds interesting, we'll have to check it out. Wouldn't mind doing a lot of exploring on down the St. Lawrence either. We'll have to figure out how to carry our 16' kayaks on the Titan.
Hope to see you next summer!

Very nice! Thanks for the info. We picked up a couple of inflatable kayaks this year, had a blast with them.
