New Silver Streak owner
I have just purchased a 1978 Silver Streak RV. It is in great condition for its age. is this considered an airstream?

Welcome to the forums.
No, a Silver Streak is not an Airstream. They are two completely different animals, made by two completely different companies. Materials and construction methods are completely different, the only similarity is the shape, and that is different as well.

We get a lot of that. It never hurts to ask, some of the appliances are similar, and you never know but somebody may know where to find what you need.
