Check out the axle. The
1968 and older Caravels and Bambi are famous for axle failures because of a small spindle, and/or just being parked.
We replace about one per week, usually for someone that's on a trip, which because of the axle failure, turns into being stranded away from home.
Posting the serial number, will get the trailer identified for you, post haste.
