I've made a few posts over the last few weeks. Most have been pleas for help. You're a great group of people and I really appreciate the assistance you've given to this newbie.

My wife and I purchased a new 22 foot 2008 Safari Sport. Local dealer has been clearing out his lot. Down to 17 trailers last year. 4 this year. 2 right now. Had a few issues that we're resolving.

Giving it a test this week. Five days solo at a full service campground. Quite a bit different from the trailers we've been renting for summer vacation and bringing to a no-service state park.

Don't forget that the warranty is with Airstream, not necessarily just the selling dealer. And, keep the Jackson Center number handy. If you need some info, they are the best source.

Thanks! Wish we got it earlier in the year (and in life).

Towing with the Jeep Commander has been great. It has the 5.7L V8 Hemi. The factory installed tow package is rated at 7200 lbs. Was using a standard hitch without weight distribution. I have an Equalizer hitch but am ordering a different shank. That Safari Sport hitch height is pretty low (16 1/2").
