Cool New Owners, 4 year forum member

First of all, thanks for letting me lurk here for four years while we decided what Airstream we wanted. Leah and I looked at everything, Class A's (WAY too big!) and every 5th wheel we could find (Way too big!!!). Your counsel and advice led us to Airstream and we are thrilled. My folks had a 31 Sovereign in the early 70's and I'm glad to be back.

Our search led us to Texas where we found a "used" 2016 Serenity 30, only it had never been taken anywhere, or slept in. The price was right and we're just completing the funds transfer this week so that we can pick it up sometime next week. Road trip from Calgary to Texas and then a Streamin' trip to British Columbia where we'll keep the trailer. We intend to use it for snowbirding in the south during the winter months and travelling from CA to FL and everywhere in between.

Happy Motoring, Michael

Congratulations! Sounds like your research and patience really paid off.

Who are these people that buy airstreams and never use them?

Safe travels.

In my case, it was an older couple where the husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. They intended to travel while they could, but he had to have a colostomy and the large trailer became more than he could handle. They used it a couple times, but the stove and shower had never been used and the tires still had the mold injection strings on the tread. He put it on consignment and bought a RoadTrek.
