Rivet new owner of 68 Globetrotter

After dreaming of Airstreams for many years, we purchased a 1968 Globetrotter. We still haven't taken it out (life got in the way) and are hoping to do so this Spring. We live in the SF Bay area and were hoping for a rally that would be close by for its maiden voyage. We noticed a listing for one in April on the Russian River and maybe that will be our first outing.

I wish that we could post some pics; we have a digital camera but haven't had time to figure out how to get the photos on our computer. Pretty sad.

But, our Globetrotter is mostly original, except for upholstery and carpet. Once we finish some house projects, I'd like to replace the carpet and cushions. But, for now, it's ready to roll!
