New name, old user

My wife and I are the proud new owners of a 2007 Safari SE (19'). I had recently signed on as "JWeil", but when we came up with the license plate for our Airstream (R SKPOD), I had to be consistent for the Airstream Forums. We had our maiden voyage in Joshua Tree NP last week, and couldn't have had a better time! We've spent the last three years boondocking out of the truck bed of our tow vehicle (2003 Dodge Dakota - 4.7 V-8), so we are more than comfortable in the Safari SE.

Welcome to the forums, again. If you had any posts under your old user ID, you can contact a moderator or administrator to combine the two accounts under your new name.
I am sure your new Safari is a far cry from the back of a pickup truck.

Talk about an upgrade, you skipped the tent, pop-up and some other brand incremental steps and went right to the top. Way to go!!

You're Invited

Congrats on the new toy. There is going to be a rally in 29 Palms in January. A good group of low key folks. Check the Rally Discussions and Rally Calendar for NOR CAL Rally. Hope to see you out there and have fun!
