New members: 24' Argosy

Hi everyone, just a quick note about us. We picked up a well used Argosy 24 last year, and are really enjoying our decision. It's needed some minor repairs, but is very usable, and getting better every weekend. We are based out of Portland, Oregon, and will be exploring the state at every opportunity. Our tow vehicle is an old style K5 Blazer, and does quite well, besides being a fun run-around vehicle when unhooked.

Looking forward to seeing ya'll out there! The Harbour family.

P.S. If anyone knows where we can find a replacement window bug screen frame for the small window over the kitchen sink on a 24' Argosy, we'd appreciate any tips! Inland RV has been awesome (I highly recommend them) for all of our other bits and pieces, but they don't carry those!

Hi and welcome.

We have a robust community of Argosy owners here and many are in the NW.

I'd keep an eye on e-bay for a parted-out argosy for the frame. Is it broken? I think mine has a replaceble screen/gasket set up and the frame stays attached to the trailer.

Good to see another 24ft Argosy having so much fun. These are great little trailers aren't they? Could you post some pictures of yours. We love pictures here.

Hi Janet. Our missing window screen frame was not on the trailer when we purchased it from the previous owner. If I can find a replacement in the right size, it would be great, otherwise I think I could cut down a larger frame and reweld it to fit, but that would be a bit more work. If I can't find one soon, I'll make a temporary one out of wood. So far I've checked two wrecking yards and two parting out Argosy ads, no cigar. Something will turn up, I'm sure.

Great pictures. Somehow your trailer looks longer than 24ft. Guess it could be the angle of the picture. Any shots of the inside? I'm guessing you have a lot more knowledge of the computer than some of us do. Very professional layout.
