Hi We're Rick and Cindy Doninelli (Although Cindy is a very progressive lady and I'm often referred to as..."Well, this must be Mr. Mallory". I'm a retired police Inspector from the San Francisco Area and Cindy's a retired nurse. We're in the process of trying to find a nice newer used "bambi" style unit that we can tow behind our vehicles which are limited to towing a 5500 lbs unit w/brakes. Since your site is an excellent location to find what we looking for at a resonable price. Once we find our dream airstream we intend to use the community to keep it going and to avoid all those pitfalls of a new owner.
Welcome to the forums. Here you will find any and everything you need to know about owning and caring for an Airstream. Especially helpful is information on pricing a bambi depending on it's age and condition. remember that the search feature will go a long way in finding what you need!!
Some of the pitfalls are part of the fun of owning a trailer and going camping (better stories). Do a search for "forum dumb 'a' of the month award"...
Welcome to the forums, anyway!
