new member - with an awning ?

I recently posted a thread here saying I have not met my new Bambi.( 2006 19ft International). My question being- How big is the awning? Will i be able to put a small table and chairs and be in shade and out of the rain comfortably? Any awning feedback appreciated! Thanks

The tongue is about 3' long (16' length of shell), then minus about 3' for each dome end before reaching the corner ribs = ~10' left for awning length.

I find that I rarely need to eat under the awning. Bring a table cloth for any friendly picnic table and you'll be in business. RV companies sell open weave plastic mats for under awnings that help keep tracking dirt around when you're underneath.

Bob was refering to the lenght of the awning. A good rule of thunb is the awning is about 9 feet less then the overal lenght of the trailer. In the case of a 19 footer it would be about 10 feet. I would guess that the awning extends roughly 7 feet from the trailer.

About 3 ft only for the Rally position otherwise, 7 ft is a good guess.

Thanks for the info. just trying to get a idea. I lived in my 'outdoor room' with the winnebago and loved it. trying to see if the bambi awning will fit my small outside tables and chairs without getting wet while hanging out and bbq'in. have a great 4th everyone!

Your awning should work fine to eat and relax under. If you leave it extended in the rain, be sure to dip the end furthest from the door one notch for proper drainage,
