Hello all and hope this finds you and all of yours doing wonderfully! I am the Proud Operator of 'CDAndy' a new to the family(04/03/15), fully Restored/Rennovated(2014)
1967 AS Globetrotter 20.
I became Medically Disabled in early 40's, 5 years ago, with Antibody Deficiency Syndrome IgG (very difficult to fight infections-especially viruses. Supposed to limit human contact/exposures=Bubble Boyish-so cannot travel conventionally) and some Autoimmune Syndromes as well causing IBD/IBS(gone from 228lbs to 165lbs on 6' 4" frame), Chronic Pain and Fatigue, weird bodywide Neuropathy and limb weaknesses (need cane), Tremor, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome (Do not tolerate Oral Medications and need to limit Environmental Exposures) and yada, yada, yada.
I am not 'feeble' but life can be a challenge. Since I have stabilized but continue to slowly decline, I have decided to stop the 'act' of living, being just that...an act... and to start living life again, such as it is, to fulfill my heart, soul and lifelong dream to travel, living mobile. Alternative of allowing them all to continue to die off while wasting away is unacceptable to me. I will be fulltiming(with Drs. blessings) and want to serve as a Camp Host as much and as long as I can. Seeing whatever glorious beauty this land holds to appreciate!
I plan to be out of sticks and bricks in 2-3 weeks. Have previously always been very active in and outdoors and have done summer long, cross country trips, in compact vehicles, pitching a tent/lean to every night and etc. So not a neophyte to the lifestyle.
Who knows, maybe getting out of the City, sticking my toes in the dirt and breathing fresh air, just might be the ticket. ; D Can't hurt, might help, and beats the heck out of sitting in front of TV....
Cheers! Kevin
