New Member, New Trailer, Looking for Adventure!

Hi! My wife and I just purchased our first RV (23ft FBT Globetrotter) and will be picking it up next week. We have two little girls and live in NY (City!). We are very excited needlesstosay and reading this forum during the past few months has been incredibly helpful - there is so much to learn; it is quite intimidating!

We have booked with two campgrounds here in NY State for a number of trips this summer. We have so many questions (primarily related to storage and maintenance but i am hoping we find answers to our questions in due course).

We are planning on storing our trailer with the campsites this summer (hope that isn't a terrible idea!?) between our reservations/trips and then finding a long-term temp controlled storage before winter (not having much luck finding many good options with electrical in NY state! so if you have any recommendations, that would be wonderful!).

Wow! You are indeed a brave soul to undertake Airstreaming while residing in New York City. Hopefully, there are members here who can point you in the right direction for storage, etc.

You are going to love Airstreaming. We are up to 2,100 nights of Airstream camping and can't wait to go again. Keep a log of your Airstream travel. You'll be glad that you did.

Storage during the winter?
Suggest you check with all the county fairgrounds within a 100 radius of NYC.
Many fair properties across the USA rent out winter RV & boat storage in order to generate a couple of bucks for their property.
