New Member - Jon

Hey, new member here, my name's Jon. Just bought a 72 Sovereign that I haven't even received yet - I'm an avid E-Bayer and bought one sight unseen. Did speak to the PO and got some pictures but I am hopeful!! It here:

So, anyway - I live in SoCal and race BMW's for a hobby. Wanted a nice fun project to ultimately take to the racetrack in order to have a bit of a retreat from the noise, and heat of the day.

Looking forward to being a contributing member!!

Welcome, Jon.
Your new-to-you trailer looks awesome! Judging from the pictures, it is very complete and original. Looks like you made a good buy.
I also live in SoCal. Let me know if you need my help, once you get it home.
What a great trackside retreat!
Do you race at Willow Springs? Buttonwillow? My company used to take a Club Ford Lola to Willows for SCCA events. Great fun!

hi jon and welcome...

great idea taking the airstream to the track....i'm amazed at how much noise is deflected by the shape....

hey that unit looks great.....only needs some cosmetic touches......and what ever you do DON'T toss out that swivel rocker!!! those are great chairs and when re done look very modern....that will be the favorite spot to sit.

maybe we need a racetrack rally.......that's be a blast.
