New Member Introduction

We just found this site yesterday and are so glad we found it. We purchased a 2004 25' Safari. Her name is Lucille, the name given by her original owner. She's in pretty good condition but after our first long trip from the Bay Area in CA to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, than back home a few things broke, came loose and need adjusting. And, some things that are just old and worn out.

We look forward to learning and sharing as we explore how we can get her fixed up. After a not so great experience with a local repair shop we are looking to see what repairs we can do on our own.

Hello from Colorado: Airstream Forums is all about doing it yourself. Study the site a bit, pick a category like plumbing, electrical, or interior or whatever makes sense for your issue, and as a question. Posting a picture of the problem area sure helps too.

There are some good books on the Airstream Life Store website that you would find helpful.
