New member in St. Louis

Hello. My name is Charles Derbak and I own a 2020 Airstream Flying Cloud 25fb-twin. I am retired and live in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. I bought my travel trailer new in 2020 and have taken long trips in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

2022 - Colorado (Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park)
Wyoming (Grand Tetons, Yellowstone)
South Dakota (Mount Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Badlands, etc)

2023 - Mackinac Island Michigan

2024 - Ohio (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), Lake Pymatuning State park
New York (4 Mile Creek State Park, Niagara Falls)
Ohio (Amish Country)

In 2025 I plan to attend the Greater St. Louis Airstream Club rally in Amana Iowa as well as a long trip to Utah to see the national parks.

Welcome from Colorado: We have traveled with our Airstream to many of the places you mentioned. We have a beautiful country with many very interesting places to visit. You have certainly been seeing the USA in your Airstream! Before you know it, you will be celebrating decades of travel with your rig. I am located about 2.5 hour Southeast of St. Louis, and have been traveling with my 1964 Airstream Overlander Land Yacht International since 1995 (Member of WBCCI/ACI since 1995 Lifetime since 2005). The highlight of my travels will be heading out to the International Rally in York Pennsylvania in August -- my first trip to that part of the country.


You will find lots of camaraderie here on the Forums. I would encourage you to consider joining the 23rd Annual Airforums Midwest Rally in Le Roy, Illinois at the Moraine View State Park. It is a fantastic rally that I have attended many times. I am not certain yet whether the timing is going to work for me, but the park is fantastic, and the Rally is always a fantastic event.
