I'm just getting acquainted with this Forum, having just purchased a 2007 Classic 27FB and a pull vehicle. I am particularly interested in knowing folk in the Northwest to begin with. Any help to offer.

hi bruce and welcome to the forums...

and air-streamn' !

you must have missed us last summer...

only about 1100 twinkies in your town....

lots of great n-wet folks here....

but they all post after my medication kicks in...

there are some fantastic forum rallys nearby too!

like this one coming up....

and beverly beach and newport beach and silver falls and many others....

lots of vintage a/s units come to these events but they will let new units in...

if you bring wine and firewood.

ok skip the firewood.

all of the true things that i am about to tell you are shameless lies. l.b.j.

we are here on earth to fart around. don't let anybody tell you any different. k.v.

Hi Bruce,
I too live in Salem and have been hanging around this forum for about 3years now and it is the best for getting information, help, encouragement and for getting connected with other ASers. We moved from Indiana to Salem last year and aside from the extra rain, its a great place to live. I have met another airstreamer here in Salem that has a great story. His father was with Wally Byum on several of the first caravans and he has so many stories. He took me to the Rally in Salem last summer and he knew so many people from years back. I have a '77 sovereign that I am slowly restoring . Given my budget and time constraints, I will never get it finished. That's okay my wife and kids don't mind the condition of the trailer as long as I can pull it somewhere in this beautiful state and camp. Congrats on the new trailer and rig. If you ever need any info or direction, there are plenty of folks here that have late model AS's that can share knowledge and experiences.
Good luck,
Wayne P

Hi Bruce,
Welcome to the forums, and to the Airstream family!

Lots of opportunities in the area, as 2air mentioned above.

Next week, there's a Buddy Rally for Airstreamers, and their friends, regardless of their brand of RV. It will be at the Lincoln City Elks Campground just south of Lincoln City.

Information about it is on the Rally Calendar at the top of this page. If you have any questions, let me know by Email or PM me.

Happy Traveling!

Welcome Bruce, I am just a bit north of you in Lake Oswego. I am currently remodling a 1974 Tradewind. I think it will be ready by June. Maybe I will see you on the road! Pam

Welcome to Oregon. We love it here, this is the state you can find all the leaks in your airstream. ha ha. We are also heading up to trout lake area 33 for a rally. Check it out and come join us. Teresa
