New Member Hello from Texas

Hello to all of my
colleagues! I am a new member from Texas, and currently reside in Corinth (just north of Dallas).

I do not currently own an Airstream, although I have many years of wonderful memories from previously owning an RV. My wife and I are looking for a good, clean recent model Airstream to enjoy during our retirement. I am a retired college president, and my wife (also a college president) expects to retire in the near future. Meanwhile, I have a lot of work to do in order to get us ready to "hit the road."

I am hoping we can find a 30' Airstream Excella or Unlimited in the 2000-2005 year range. I would appreciate any guidance you folks may have to offer and, more specifically where I might find a really nice Airstream.

We actually are here for awhile. We have a cousin who lives in Corinth and are staying at the Destiny RV park in Denton.
You will love your Airstream once you get it.
My husband has been a Pastor for the last 16 years and last September he stepped down from his church (gave a 5 month notice) and now we are on the road fulltime in Evangelism. We were on our way to CA for 6 weeks of meetings when they were rescheduled for later date. So...... we are around here for a while until we head back to the midwest for meetings there.
Churches are hard to get into in this area.
Anyway.... Welcome!

Hi Ronnie, and welcome!

Have you checked with the RV dealer at the NE corner of 635 and 35N (forgot their name, sorry!)? We have been there several times when we lived in Rowlett for Excella parts (got a rib from them to clamshell the back end for a car hauler, and some other stuff) and they always had several units on the property, either for sale or for work to be done. I believe they are a certified Airstream dealer. I hope they are still there (lots of construction in that area), but if not, you should be able to find where they moved pretty easily.
