New member from California

Hello fellow aluminum trailer owners. Figured I would join, as I just purchased a 1971 Streamline Imperial 27' and I couldn't find a forums website just dealing with these trailers. The trailer I picked up for $500 there are over $600 in DMV fees due to make it road legal and I am replacing all the tires before towing it home tomorrow. The floor is done and will need to be replaced everything else is intact. I will post pics of my restoration as it unfolds.

Thanks for having me aboard!

Another Streamliner !!
I have a 65 Streamline Duke in addition to my Argosy. Lots of great info here in these forum pages.
My floor is in poor shape also . Check out the thread on this Silver Streak which is a close twin to the Streamline. Lots of ideas to borrow.

There is also a good group of Streamline fans on Facebook.
Post some pictures of your project , would love to see them.

Thanks.

Here is a pic of the beginning. Had to pull this aging gal from the overgrown blackberry bushes. Pull the tires grease bearings and make sure the electric brakes still work. She sits on a piece of property high in the Sierra Mountains. It'll be a very steep windy road to her new home.
