Hi All - I am a new member to Air Forums. We have a 2017 Classic 30' and just love the A/S life. We tow her with a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500. We have been taking trips every summer, last summer we went to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We just got back from snowboarding in Breckenridge. We are going to Marfa in June. Yellowstone is on our radar in the not too distant future too. Other than that we love the state parks in Texas. Palo Duro is my favorite. Most trips are with my 11 year old son or my wife. Our trailer has become my hobby. I have been tapping into everyone's knowledge and experience through the forums and finally decided to join so I could start giving back with some of the things I have been learning along the way. Thanks to everyone and see y'all on the trail!

Welcome aboard. Did you know there are two nice Airstream Only parks in Texas....

Those always make good places to visit - especially if you need maintenance or an upgrade. Lots of folks with 20+ years of experience who can help you out or show you a simpler, better way of working.

I had indulged myself in stainless steel furnace and water heater covers, and had blown the PIA unobtanium fuse in the range hood... bought 10 on Amazon, so while I received a lot of assistance, I was able to rid myself of many obsolete parts... and repay the kindnesses I received. The Bourbon sauce on the bread pudding didn't hurt either.

(Just never mention that you will actually eat pork barbecue, or forget that football is a registered religion in Texas.)

Serious fun! Paula

Greetings from Colorado: Hope your Breckenridge trip was a good time. And I hope your trailer kept you warm. We are now both vaccinated and plan on some traveling this spring. We will observe all the local covid protocols of course, but we just feel safer now so why not a little traveling in our trailer.

Happy you joined these Forums and hope you participate often.

David

Welcome welcome! Sounds like you've already taken some awesome trips. I live in Colorado - you are brave taking the airstream out into snow country for skiing up in Breck - that's awesome and I'm jealous!

Welcome ThyGlamper and happy to hear you've been down the road a bit. Every trip is an experience and the information exchange between A/S folks boarders on priceless. Even some of the opinions are helpful.

What started out as a hobby to us turned into a life-style. Continue to have fun and contribute, ask, share, or just opine. Welcome to the Air Forums.
