Hello
Just came across this site looking for ideas and have already shared a one (using Rice and a plastic bag to dry out a camera , oh and a rubber band) .
Have a 2013 Interstate we like going to the Beaches here in Florida ( locates in Brooksville Florida ) have two dogs we take with us.
Looking at poles that mount on the side for out Paddle Boards (lots of places to go around here to use them)

Picked our Airstream up in 2015 haven’t done any mods, mostly to the Beach 🏖, Thinking to update the TVs and Solar along with electrical cutoff ....

Hi, Rusted, welcome to the forum. Greetings from central Kentucky. Congratulations on your Interstate purchase, looks really nice.

On the camera trick, make sure that if any of your battery powered devices get wet, never turn them on, take the battery out if possible. Wait for them to dry out. I've heard of the bag of rice trick but my preference is to take the battery out and if possible, open any compartment doors, then put it in front of a fan for at least an hour. Drying it out is the most important thing before trying to turn it on.

Hope you have many miles of adventures and fun traveling in the Interstate.

I saw your post, Rusted, glad somebody else thinks the rice bag trick will work. I hadn't tried it yet, so I was gratified to see you successfully dried your camera. Gonna get right to it.

Only thing better is a big tight sealing bomb fuse or 20mm ammo can filled with fresh silica gel Dri-bags to literally suck the moisture out of something that got dunked.

Had a piece of Navy photo equipment that got sprayed with salt water. Flushed it out with distilled water until it didn’t taste salty, slapped it in the can and waited a week. Then a bit of contact lube and the gadget was better than original.

Scared the heck out of the owner of the gadget when I literally dumped it into a deep sink full of distilled water to flush out the salt.
