Hello to all. I am a new registrant with a 1949 Curtis Wright M5 and I hope I am in the right place.
I base out of New Orleans and Montana...weather is the primary determinative.
I look forward to hearing from those who might like some tips about the NW Montana area or New Orleans area...I try to pass quickly through the "Empire of the Summer Moon" land.

Hey Pecos, sounds like your splitting your time between Gods Country and Voodoo Central. So I imagine you're familiar with Copper Breaks and Quanah, TX?

Gotta like that description: "Voodoo Central". I've lived in the New Orleans area all my adult life, and I believe you've come up with the most succinct and evocative desription that can be used in polite company.
Quanah, Tx...I spent a month there one night. Unlike Quanah Parker, I don't like hanging out between 98 degrees and the divide. I push pretty hard to get over the divide then begin a nice mosey. On the east bound leg, I push until I get to NOLA, a great American city.
