Hello everyone
My name is Christina and my family and I own a 1973 Arogsy 24 Travel Trailer that we are currently working on for restoration. Anyone that has any "cheap" ideas (we don't have alot of funds to work with) your thoughts are welcomed!! Currently what we would like to do is refinish the walls, they currently have a dark colored wood grain paper and the interior seems very dark and dismal right now; we either need a new AC unit or it needs serviced...not sure how much a service would cost, but I am SURE it would be considerably less than buying a new one...; and the refrigerator is not working either, which I know is a big ticket item - hoping someone out there knows where we could get reconditioned at a reasonable price!?!?
I look forward to being an active member in this forum!!!

Hi Christina and Welcome to the forums. Have you looked under the classifieds? Sometimes you can find items cheap or even some being given away if you pay shipping. Do you have any pictures of the interior. Surely between the several thousand people on this forum everyday, we can come up with some ideas to help you out.

Look for threads that mention "burping" the refrigerator. It's mostly a tedious process or removing it and turning it upside down for some period of time. Some say it works miracles, others say that the miracle only last a few months.

The air conditioners aren't designed to be serviceable--they don't have the normal fill and purge ports. A competent A/C place can solder them in, but you'd be taking a chance that it's not the compressor. I think the modification and servicing will cost a substantial percentage of what a new A/C would cost.
