Hi all and best of holidays to each of you. This is a great site and I hope to be able to be helpful when my skill level increases. I have restored several cars and been an avid sailor also doing most of my own repairs. Am in Northwest Michigan looking for a 25 footer. Thanks for the good info.

Howdy Lee -- and welcome to the Forums! I wish the whole world could discover Traverse City. No wait, I take that back. Sorry. You come from one of the greater areas of our country!

Susie would always wonder how I knew what to do when working on our Argosy. Your skill set sounds ideal. Very few ol' box RVs remain from 30-40 years ago, but the basic shell of Airstreams last a long time. The axles, floors and frames on vintage units usually need a year or two of work depending on your spare time. 1990 and after Airstreams are more ready to go right now. What are you looking for?
