Hello,
My wife and I are new members to this group and to RVing. We have a 2006 25' Safari and have never used it. We have a few repairs to do and have a lot of things to learn about how it all works. The AC system only heats and doesn't do that very well, it seems that the reversing valve is stuck and the system seems low on refrigerant. After these repairs are made, we will buy a 3/4 ton pickup for towing and hopefully off we go.

Travis, welcome to the Airstream Community and Forums! You’re in the right place as there’s many veterans with older Airstreams who can help you if needed.

You might want to check the age of the trailer’s tires. The recommended replacement is every 5-6 years no matter their tread depth.

Welcome and I’m sure you’re looking forward to hitting the road. We have a Safari but a few years older. You are located in a great spot to hit a bunch of state parks. You may want to consider making a few park reservations ahead of time. They fill up quickly. Good luck and keep us posted.
