First off, Huge thank you!!
Been lurking last couple of weeks, when I found the stars aligning
Never thought I would have a chance to be a steward for my very own AS.
Its happening, Monday appt, with the dealer for walk-though and (hopefully) very detailed briefing on my new home.
Its a 2005 31-M Classic, seems to be in great shape. Dealer in Medford OR, All RV Needs, seem like decent folks. They had a couple of other AS's, both newer with large shiny price stickers.
Feel like I'm starring into the abyss, since there is no info from dealer on history, or even basic log's on upkeep. First AS and fulltime for me, so again, thank you all for this space and all the wonderful content. Looking forward to sharing my adventures, challenges and insights.
Cheers

Welcome Aircrete! Glad to have you aboard. Are there big red numbers on your coach? Or the ghosts of numbers? If so, you can contact the Airstream club
(WBCCI) and find out who had those numbers and start on the history of it.
Good luck, hope you enjoy being an Airstreamer!

Congrats on your AS acquisition. And welcome to the forum.
I would also check the "big red numbers" if available. That would give you a starting place for some history of the AS. And I might also suggest getting your own set of numbers by joining the local AS Club. It would be a great place to meet like minded folk who could assist with the learning curve.
Enjoy the ride!

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle
Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. Congratulations on your new baby. May you have safe travels and many great Airstream Adventures with her. We would love to see some pictures when you get her.

Update
Had some issues getting back on Airforums, thanks for the assist Cliff!
Thanks Vivian (Cerberus) and Hans627, checked for any trace of red numbers.
Doesn't appear PO was enrolled as a member of WBCCI. Although I might, if they are active in the Pacific Northwest, once I take delivery and get the "hands on questions".
Walk through was painful, but I've been told they have addressed all the issues we found. Lacking any more leverage, its paid in full, I'm trusting them to follow through on their word. Now I have to wait till the 19th, for delivery.
Was going to attach some pics, but site just asked me to log in again, odd.
Well I have some time before it arrives, and a gate to expand. So it can sit next to garden, while I master the learning curve on all things Airstream.
I might start a new thread in 00-05 Classic, as this Adventure unfolds.
Cheers
